Every solid PTFE ball we produce goes through a controlled in-house manufacturing process. We use custom-built PTFE ball machining equipment developed over 35+ years of production experience, ensuring consistent quality from batch to batch.
Virgin-grade PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) resin is sourced and verified for compliance with material specifications. FDA-grade resin used for food and pharma orders.
PTFE powder is loaded into precision moulds and compressed under high, controlled pressure to form solid pre-forms (billets) of the required diameter. Pressure and dwell time are calibrated per size.
Compressed pre-forms are sintered (baked) in controlled-temperature ovens at ~370–380°C. This step fuses the PTFE particles into a dense, solid, void-free structure with full material properties.
Sintered PTFE billets are machined into precise spheres using our custom-built ball machining equipment. This process achieves the required diameter, roundness, and surface finish specified by the customer.
Each PTFE ball is measured and inspected for diameter, roundness, and surface finish. We use calibrated measuring instruments to ensure compliance with the specified tolerance and customer drawing.
Inspected PTFE balls are carefully packed to prevent damage during transit. Export orders are packed with appropriate export-quality packaging. Full traceability documentation available on request.

PTFE balls offer the broadest chemical resistance and widest temperature range (-200°C to +260°C) of any engineering plastic, plus the lowest coefficient of friction (0.05–0.10). Unlike nylon, polypropylene, or PEEK balls, PTFE resists virtually all chemicals and does not absorb moisture.

Compression moulding is the standard manufacturing process for solid PTFE balls. PTFE powder is compressed under high pressure into a solid pre-form, then sintered (baked) at high temperature to fuse the material into a dense, solid sphere. This produces PTFE balls with consistent material properties throughout the entire cross-section.
